Cat and kitten adoptions are held at our foster facility in Woodland, California (about 20 minutes Northwest of Sacramento in Northern California) on most Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm and most Saturday afternoons from 12 pm to 2 pm.  To confirm this schedule for the current week please e-mail us at cashelterfriends@yahoo.com.

The cats/kittens we currently have available can be viewed on our animal database website at http://www.casf.rescuegroups.org.  This website is updated daily.  We do adoptions on a first-come, first-served basis so cannot guarantee that an animal you see posted on the site will still be available at the time you come to visit. 

We are not able to "hold" an animal for a potential adopter and can only complete adoptions in person.  We are also not able to ship animals to potential adopters.

If you are interested in meeting a cat/kitten we have available for adoption please e-mail us to confirm that the animal is still available for adoption and to confirm adoption hours for the week. We do not at this time require an adoption application for cat adopters (however we do require receipt of a completed and approved "Dog Adoption Application" for dog/puppy adopters).

When you visit please bring a cat carrier in case you adopt (we have a limited number of cardboard carriers available for a $5 donation) and be sure to bring the adoption fee of $75 per cat/kitten payable in cash or check (we are NOT able to take credit cards).
